EMERGENCY DENTAL CARE

Emergency Dental Care in Austin, TX 78759

Extractions vary in difficulty from simple and surgical depending on many factors. The process involves a lot of pushing, pulling, and pressure to remove the tooth from the socket. For more complex extractions the tooth may need to be sectioned using a drill to aid in easier removal. After extractions, it is important to refrain from smoking, spitting, or sucking through straws, etc. The healing time varies from patient to patient, but typically a post operative appointment is scheduled 1 week after the extraction.

For any dental emergencies, please call 512.346.1900.
