Dr. Brent Fossum

Dr. Brent Fossum has been practicing dentistry for a decade. Dr. Fossum went to Texas Tech on a baseball scholarship and earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Biology. He received his DDS Degree in Houston at the University of Texas Dental Branch in 2010. Dr. Fossum has since worked as an associate in Houston, Harker Heights and Austin.

Dr. Fossum stays on top of the latest in dentistry by regularly enrolling in continuing education courses, broadening his knowledge in all aspects of the field. That includes learning the latest techniques and procedures. He is a member of the American Dental Association, Texas Dental Association and the Capital Area Dental Society.

Dr. Fossum was born and raised in Rapid City, South Dakota. He also lived in Albuquerque, New Mexico and several cities throughout Texas. He currently lives in Northwest Austin with his wife, Meg, and their dog, Ella.

Dr. Fossum’s extended family includes six other dentists. All three of his older brothers practice dentistry in Texas – one is an endodontist. Three of Dr. Fossum's great uncles, also brothers, were dentists dating back into the 1800's.

Outside of dentistry, Dr. Fossum likes to golf, try new restaurants, go to sporting events, play ping pong and chess and watch movies at the Alamo Draft House.

Elaine Erdelt, Office Manager

I am a native Texan who has lived in in many other states but finally returned to Texas. I enjoy building relationships with our patients and am so fortunate to be with such a great team as at Great Grins.

Outside the office I enjoy coaching and volunteering for many Special Olympic sports and spending time with my two wonderful daughters, awesome son-in-law, and my extended family.

Morgan Garza, Registered Dental Hygienist

I have been a hygienist for over 15 years. It is something I wanted to do since I was in elementary school, I am so blessed I get to do what I love every day. I love my job and helping my patients to improve their oral health!

My husband and I have 4 active kids, Bobby, Lily, Aidan and Owen. We have called Austin home now since 2016 and love it! My husband and I enjoy trying out new restaurants around town and when I do get free time (which doesn’t happen very often!) I love to go antiquing!

Taylor was born in Irving, Tx but raised in College Station, Tx. She moved to Austin about two years ago in order to have a better opportunity in the Dental field which she loves. She strives to make sure our patients feel welcomed and loved like family.

"I am very family oriented and it makes me happy and overjoyed to share my compassion and knowledge of Dentistry to you as if you were my mom, sister, brother, or grandparent". WHOOP to my Aggies but it is with great pleasure that I am able to work in such a great city at Great Grins Dental!

Meg Bonacorsi, Administrative Assistant

Meg came to Great Grins looking for a change. She was an EMMY-winning news anchor and reporter for over a decade. Meg loves interacting with the community and is excited to use her skills to help patients have the best experience possible.

Meg has lived in six states, all over the country. She's been in Texas since 2013. In her free time, Meg likes trying new restaurants, taking her dog to the park, shopping, reading and practicing yoga and pilates. Meg is also a volunteer driver for CareBOX and delivers supplies to local cancer patients every week.
